In 2022, we teamed up with Fast Events at Sunway Pyramid to launch an immersive activation for Disney+ Hotstar. Tasked with creating engaging interactions for popular shows, we developed a themed interactive rock climbing wall for Malaysia’s beloved cartoon, Ejen Ali, and an exhilarating infinite runner game for the hit Korean reality program, The Zone. These installations provided fans with a unique opportunity to experience their favorite shows in a dynamic, interactive format.

The design of our interactive games for Disney+ Hotstar was carefully tailored to captivate families, especially young children accompanied by their parents. Given the tight timeline for the Disney+ Hotstar project, our approach was to swiftly implement and develop activations that aligned perfectly with the event's needs and schedule. Recognizing the frequent engagement of a younger audience, we prioritized safety in our installations, ensuring a secure environment for all participants. To manage the large crowds effectively, we integrated practical event-based controls into our systems, such as 'quick reset' and 'jump scene' functions. These features streamlined operations, allowing for smooth, continuous interaction throughout the event.

Surviving The
Zone
Our first installation for Disney+ Hotstar, the infinite run game for "The Zone," transformed the show’s thrilling concept of escaping imminent danger into an engaging, physical experience. Mirroring the show’s dynamic challenges, participants “ran” stationary, dodging obstacles and collecting points to "survive" the zone. Powered by motion sensors, the game accurately detected users' body positions ensuring interactive, responsive gameplay. This alignment with the show's adventurous spirit provided a fun and immersive way for fans to connect with their favorite program.

Inspired by the adventures of the popular Malaysian cartoon "Ejen Ali," where the young agent maneuvers through dangerous missions, we created an interactive rock climbing installation for kids. This setup invited young fans to embody their hero, racing against time to save the world through a physically engaging climb. The installation was enhanced with projectors displaying Ejen Ali-themed animations and instructions, creating an immersive environment. Motion sensors tracked the climbers' positions against predetermined routes, making the experience not only fun but also a thrilling race to save the world!
